Refund policy

At Aspire UMA Academy, we want to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase. If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your order, we are here to help. Please take a moment to review our returns policy below:

1. Returns Eligibility:

·         We accept returns within 30 days from the date of delivery.

·         During the statutory cancellation period, you may examine the goods as you would reasonably be able to do. We may make a reasonable deduction from the refund if unnecessary handling, use or damage has reduced the value of the goods.

2.  How to Initiate a Return:

·         To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at info@aspire-academy.co.uk within the return window mentioned above.

·         Our team will guide you through the return process and provide you with a return authorisation if your item is eligible.

3.  Return Shipping:

·         For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for arranging and paying the direct cost of returning the goods to the address we provide.

Some products, including staffs, training weapons and other long or oversized items, may be expensive to return and may not be accepted by standard postal services. The estimated return cost for these products can vary. Actual carrier prices may vary depending on the parcel dimensions, destination and service selected.

·         We recommend using an appropriately insured and tracked delivery service. You are responsible for the goods until they are received at the designated return address.

·         Certain products cannot be returned for a change-of-mind refund where a hygiene seal has been broken, or where the product has been personalised or made to the customer’s specification, except where the goods are faulty or not as described.

Our extended 30-day returns period

In addition to your statutory rights, eligible goods may be returned between days 15 and 30 after delivery under our extended returns promise.

For change-of-mind returns under this extended returns promise, a restocking charge of up to 3% of the retail price of the returned goods applies.

For returns made during this additional period:

  • The goods must be unused, complete, undamaged and in a resaleable condition;
  • The original packaging, labels and accessories should be included;
  • You are responsible for the return cost; and
  • We will refund the price of the returned goods (less any restocking charge), but the original delivery charge will not be refunded.

This extended returns promise does not limit any rights you may have where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described.

4.  Refunds:

·         Refunds will be made to the original payment method.

For a statutory cancellation, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have provided evidence that they have been returned, whichever occurs first. We will then issue the refund within the applicable legal timeframe.

·         Returns made under our extended 30-day promise will be refunded after the goods have been received and inspected.

5.  Exchanges:

·         We offer exchanges. To request a different size or colour, please contact info@aspire-academy.co.uk. 

6.  Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods:

·         If an item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, please contact us promptly with your order number and, where possible, photographs showing the problem.

Where a return is necessary, we will provide a prepaid return method, arrange collection or reimburse reasonable return costs. Your statutory rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund remain unaffected.

7.  Non-Returnable Items:

·         Some items are not eligible for returns, including all classes and courses unless under extraordinary circumstances. Where possible, alternative dates to attend the next class or course will be provided.

8.  Cancellations:

·         If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us within 48hrs of the order being placed. If your order has not been shipped, we will process the cancellation and issue a full refund.
